    About Rochelle

    Rochelle Marashi, integrative psychotherapist

I am an integrative psychotherapist based in London, offering online therapy to adults navigating a wide range of life challenges. I have broad clinical experience across the NHS, addiction services, women's centres, and low-cost therapy settings, and I bring a warm, thoughtful, and professional approach to every session.

    Background

I grew up in Germany and Spain, studied in Paris, and worked in Bangkok. Before training as a therapist, I had a corporate background working in learning and development and human resources. I have also worked in education and the not-for-profit sector.

This varied background gives me a broad perspective on the challenges people face — whether in relationships, at work, across cultures, or during periods of significant change.

Alongside my clinical work, I write for therapy publications and raise awareness of coercive control, legal abuse, and stalking. My articles have been published in Therapy Today, the Counselling Directory, Make Yourself Heard Journal, and Psychreg.

When I am not working, I enjoy quality time with my husband, daughter, and extended family.

    My Approach

I practise as an integrative psychotherapist, which means I draw on several well-established therapeutic traditions and tailor my approach to each client's needs. The theories that inform my work include:

    • Person-centred therapy — creating a safe, non-judgemental space where you feel genuinely heard
    • Psychodynamic therapy — exploring how past experiences shape present feelings and behaviour
    • Transactional analysis — understanding communication patterns and relationship dynamics

The therapeutic relationship is always at the heart of our work together. I believe that when you feel truly accepted and understood, you are better able to explore difficult feelings and find your own way forward.

I practise exclusively online. You can read more about what sessions look like on How I Work.

    Languages Spoken

Being able to work in your first language — or the language in which your experiences took place — can make therapy significantly more effective.
