Who I Work With

I work with adults navigating a wide range of life challenges — from relationship difficulties and workplace stress to the long-term impact of trauma and abuse. This page explains the types of clients I typically support and the issues they bring to therapy.

I work with adults including students, professionals, and parents who are navigating life transitions, relationship difficulties, health challenges, workplace stress, discrimination, and the impact of trauma and abuse. I have particular experience supporting clients affected by coercive control, stalking, institutional betrayal, and cross-cultural challenges. All sessions are online, and I offer therapy in five languages.

    Life Transitions

Many clients come to therapy during a period of significant change — starting or ending a relationship, becoming a parent, changing careers, relocating, retirement, or bereavement. These transitions can bring up unexpected emotions, even when the change is something you chose. Therapy provides a space to process what is happening and find your footing.

    Relationship Difficulties

Relationship problems are one of the most common reasons people seek therapy. This includes difficulties with a partner, family estrangement, friendship breakdowns, or patterns in relationships that keep repeating. I help clients understand what is happening in their relationships and explore what they want to change.

    Workplace and Organisational Challenges

I have experience supporting clients dealing with workplace stress, discrimination, organisational conflict, and burnout. My own background in corporate learning and development and human resources gives me a practical understanding of workplace dynamics alongside the therapeutic perspective.

    Trauma and Abuse

I have particular experience working with clients affected by coercive control, domestic abuse, gender-based violence, stalking, and DARVO. I also work with clients who have experienced institutional betrayal — where an organisation or system that was supposed to protect them caused or compounded the harm. Cultural and Language Barriers

Having grown up in Germany and Spain, studied in Paris, and worked in Bangkok, I understand what it means to navigate different cultures. I work with clients facing cross-cultural challenges, discrimination, and the particular difficulties of living and working between cultures or languages. I offer therapy in English, French, German, Persian (Farsi), and Spanish.

    Health Challenges

I support clients dealing with the emotional impact of physical health challenges — managing a diagnosis, living with chronic illness, or adjusting to changes in physical ability. The emotional side of health difficulties is often overlooked, and therapy can provide a space to process what you are going through.

    Scope and Boundaries

This page covers who I work with and the types of concerns I support. For how sessions work, see How I Work. For specific topic areas and clusters of support, see Services. I work with individual adults only. I do not offer couples therapy, family therapy, or therapy for anyone under 18.

Do you work with men and women?

Yes. I work with adults of all genders.

Do you work with people outside the UK?

All sessions are held online, which means location is not a barrier. I work with clients based in the UK only.

Do I need to have a diagnosis?

No. You do not need a diagnosis or a referral from your GP to start therapy. Many people come to therapy without a specific diagnosis — they simply know that something does not feel right and they want support in working through it.

What if I'm not sure therapy is right for me?

That is a very normal feeling. I offer a short, free introductory call so we can have an initial conversation and you can ask any questions before deciding. There is no pressure to commit. You can also book an initial assessment session to explore what you are looking for in more depth.

Do you work with other therapists or professionals?

I offer training on stalking awareness for mental health practitioners and public services professionals. I also offer therapy to other therapists and people working in the helping professions. Training

If you are not sure whether I am the right therapist for you, I offer a short, free introductory call so we can talk it through. There is no obligation.
